What makes us stand out?

Totally live vocals/harmonies and keyboards (i.e. only the drum and bass lines on backing disc!), excellent sound and lighting, a superb repertoire to suit everyone's taste and a warm and friendly approach to every audience.

What songs & atmosphere would the audience want?

Most people when they have entertainment ultimately want to dance or move to the music in some way. One look at our playlist and you will see a lot of up-tempo party music that is guaranteed to make this happen. It is so important to create the right atmosphere however and to this end we have a great selection of slower easy listening songs for a more relaxed approach to the beginning of an evening, especially suitable in a dinner dance situation.

What sound & lighting would the audience require?

We expect that the average person wouldn't know or even consider the equipment that we use. They will however, notice if the sound is good or bad or if the stage and dance floor is well lit or looking more like a cave. The equipment we use obviously varies depending on the size of the venue and the requirements of the person booking us. By having a quick glance at our equipment page you will see that with each PA option the quality of our sound and Lighting equipment is to the level of what you would expect from a fully professional outfit.

What time should we be prepared to leave and arrive for a performance?

This is actually quite an important issue as for example we have had to leave at 6 a.m. before to play at 10.a.m. in Gloucester. Every engagement is always treated differently as distance, playing times and all other factors of people's personal requirements are different. Our professional view is that we always arrive early so as to be set up and ready for what our clients require.

How long should we be prepared to play for and what happens when we are not performing during the occasion?

We will generally perform two sets throughout the day/evening, but there will always be additional background up-tempo or easy listening music playing before, during and after these sets as required.

What else can we provide in helping your occasion run smoothly?

From the minute we arrive to when we leave, we will be on hand to help you with personal announcements, speeches and award ceremonies etc. We can supply an additional Radio Microphone for you to use throughout the day/evening and would also consider performing a particular song of your choice; this can be discussed prior to your engagement. Most importantly we carry Public Liability Insurance through our membership to the Musicians Union, in case of any very rare or misfortunate situation that could arise, safe in the knowledge that we will all be covered.

What makes us affordable?

Everyone likes to hear a band and would love to book a band, but to effectively pay for having 4 or 5 professional musicians time and experience can be costly. To give an example, we used to operate a 4-piece professional function band and our average payment for a gig was £800+. Obviously prices vary for engagements but because we are a live duo and still producing a great band sound, vocally and musically, we can now fall into most people's price brackets and we are still able to offer the high standard of entertainment desired. Value for money!!
